KARACHI: Anti-polio campaign will be held in 24 Union Councils (UC) of Karachi on Monday (today) in which children with less than five years of age will be immunized from the virus, ARY News reports.
The anti-polio drive will be held in the Union Councils of Orangi Town, SITE Area, Mangopir, Pehlwan Goth and Saddar Town.
According to the security plan issued by the Health Department, a ban will be imposed on riding a motorcycle in the UCs. Law Enforcing Agencies (LEAs) will escort the polio teams on the occasion whereas they will also patrol the areas.
The anti-polio drive was supposed to be held on Sunday but was postponed due to Pakistan Day and inappropriate security measures.
