KARACHI: Twelve day anti-polio and measles drive will be held across Sindh including Karachi on Monday (tomorrow), ARY News reports.
The drive will commence from May 19 till May 31. In the campaign, 13.3 million children will be immunized from polio and measles.
According to officials, the drive is being organized due to the large number measles cases reported from Sindh. Routine security will be provided during the drive, sources said.
It should be noted that the vaccination drives have been called of many times due to security reasons.
More than ten polio volunteers have been killed by terrorists in the last 1.5 years in Karachi.
