Anti-state forces exploiting ISI-Geo dispute: JI chief
LAHORE: Chief Jamaat-e-Islami Sirajul Haq said anti-state elements were exploiting the dispute between the Inter Services Intelligence (ISI) and Geo TV, ARY News reported Sunday.
Addressing a congregation here, the JI chief said ongoing tension was being exploited by anti-state forces. “We cannot see further destruction in the country,” he said.
He appealed that military and political leaderships should now resolve the crisis.
He demanded the government to give Khyber Pakhtonkhwa a sum of Rs 540 billion under royalty.
The JI chief while demanding withdrawal of Pakistan Protection Ordinance, termed it against the human rights.
