‘Anti-Taliban Day’ to be observed on Friday

LAHORE: The All Parties Conference (APC), attended by different political parties in the provincial capital of Punjab, against militancy decided to observe ‘Anti-Taliban Day’ on January 28, Friday, ARY News reported.

The APC was held in Lahore, attended by different political parties including Mutahidda Qaumi Movement, Pakistan Sunni Tehreek, Pakistan People’s Party and Majlis-e-Wehdat e Muslimeen. The formal statement of the APC, denouncing Taliban militancy was also issued.

The APC also announced to start ‘Go Taliban Go’ movement against on-going terrorism acts perpetrated by the Taliban.
