Anushka denies being Kohli's distraction

TOP NEWS

Anushka’s comments come in the wake of Virat’s fiery outburst at a reporter recently, which occurred due to a misunderstanding on part of the Indian cricketer.

Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli have been dating for quite a while, yet have maintained their personal lives with each other a secret from the media. However Virat spilled the beans indirectly when he waved the bat in Anushka’s direction and blew kisses after scoring a hundred against Australia roughly a month ago.

However, Virat can be difficult to control at times and a very recent example of this occurred when during a World Cup practice session, the flamboyant star exchanged hot words with an Indian reporter. Kohli rained verbal abuses on the astonished reporter after his practice session ended and also left a couple of his teammates gaping. Virat alleged that it was the reporter who had done a story on Anushka and him which was not pleasing at all. However, after coming to know that it wasn’t the reporter he had just had a verbal scuffle with but another one, Kohli apologized to him through someone else.

“Why should I be responsible for Virat’s performance on the field?” Anushka said that it’s “primitive to call me his distraction and blame me for his performance.”The star actress also stated that in the same manner, she was to blame for her professional blunders or felicitated for her achievements and not someone else. She said that Virat does not have any impact on her professional life and neither does she let her relationship with him affect his career. The actress also reaffirmed that they were in a relationship, just that they didn’t like to talk about it in the press and preferred exercising discretion in this aspect of their personal lives.

Anushka’s upcoming film NH10 was just cleared roughly a week ago by the censor board despite its obscene language and some kissing scenes. This will be the actress’s first production venture.
