Anushka Sharma: I might leave Bollywood

Anushka Sharma is no doubt one of the hottest actresses at the moment. Her recent films NH10 and Bombay Velvet have earned impressive reviews as well as respect from the critics. Hence, news of her apparently considering leaving Bollywood for good has come as a surprise for everyone.

Here’s what Anushka had to say about her intentions to bid adieu to the Indian film industry:-

“I can even leave next year. I am not attached to things except my family. I am attached to my work right now because I am enjoying it. If my work is exciting, I will continue doing it. But if it has nothing, I won’t.”

Anushka Sharma is also in a well publicized relationship with charismatic Indian batsman Virat Kohli. According to Anushka’s statement, the actress seems to be enjoying her stint in Bollywood currently since according to her, the work is exciting. However, from the looks of it, Anushka does not plan on being an actress for long and hopes to settle down one day. Currently, it’s evident that the actress has a keen eye for good scripts and is doing more than fine at enacting characters on screen.

Anushka’s statement has caused quite a buzz in the media and speculations are rife that the actress might marry cricketer Virat Kohli this year. Hence, the actress has decided to bid farewell to the Bollywood industry for good.

Anushka’s much anticipated film Bombay Velvet will release today. The movie features ace director Karan Johar in a villan’s role and the cast also has to its name Bollywood’s heartthrob Ranbir Kapoor. Directed by Anurag Kashyap, the film’s trailer has already generated intrigue and interest among anticipating masses. Anushka will also be seen in the upcoming movie Dil Dhadakne Do opposite Ranveer Singh, Anil Kapoor, Farhan Akhtar and Priyanka Chopra.
