Arbab, Jatoi, Shah for new political alliance in Sindh

KARACHI: Three of Sindh province’s former chief ministers announced a new political alliance in the province, ARY News reported on Monday.

Ghaus Ali Shah, Liaquat Jatoi and Arbab Ghulam Rahim along with other political leaders of Sindh met on Arbab’s residence. Pakistan Muslim League Functional (PML-F) Sindh President Sadruddin Rashidi was also present in the meeting.


Talking to Media after the session, Liaquat Ali Jatoi said that corruption has reached new heights in the province. There is nothing called law and order while development, medical facilities, education have taken a back seat forcing the poor people of Sindh to sell their children.

He further hinted on contacting Sindh’s urban party Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) for the greater good of the Sindh province. Jatoi also suggested a referendum to ascertain which party delivered in the province.

Ghaus Ali Shah said that PML-N remained silent over election rigging  by Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) in the province while PML-F leader Sadruddin Rashidi announced to bring sit-at-home league veterans back to politics.
