ISLAMABAD: Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) leader Maulana Fazl ur Rehman in an interview has said that the anti-state armed activities within Pakistan are against Islamic teachings, ARY News reported on Thursday.
He said that the key to talks with the Taliban was with the military.
In a television interview the JUI-f chief said that anti-state armed activities in Pakistan were against the Islamic Sharia.
Fazl also claimed that Taliban were involved in attacks on him. He said Taliban have been angry with him over his support to the point of view of the ulema over terrorism.
Fazl said that he has submitted his proposals to the prime minister for success of the dialogue. He further said that he will extend wholehearted cooperation to the government for success of the process of dialogue.
