ISLAMABAD: Defence Minsiter Pervez Khattak on Monday said the Armed Forces of Pakistan would be strengthened in terms of resources and equipment.
“Defence of the country will be made impregnable,” he said while speaking during an introductory meeting with senior officers of the ministry in Rawalpindi.
The minister was briefed about the role and functions of the ministry and its allied organizations.
Meanwhile, Zubaida Jalal also assumed the charge of Ministry of Defense Production in Rawalpindi.
On arrival at the ministry, she was received by officials of the Ministry of Defense Production.
The minister also held a meeting with Secretary Defense Production Lieutenant General (retired) Muhammad Ejaz Chaudhary and discussed matters of the ministry.
Zubaida Jalal lauded progress and achievements of defense production industry.
