Army obtained 70pc control of Mir Ali, ISPR

MIR ALI: Pakistan Army have cleared around 70 per cent area of Mir Ali of terrorists taking over control of these areas, ARY News reported.

According to the statement issued by Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) on Sunday, the security forces have cleared huge area of Mir Ali during the ongoing operation Zarb-e-Azb in North Waziristan while the house to house search is underway in the area.

ISPR further disclosed that Army has also taken two arsenal factories, explosives and 30 drums full of explosive and chemical material in their possession from Mir Ali during operation.

Furthermore, the Pakistan Army have taken the full control of Miranshah, Boya, Degan and Mirali after the clearing these areas of terrorists.

During the military operation against militants in North Waziristan 570 terrorists have been killed, 98 hideouts and 30 tunnel making factories were destroyed while several centers of suicide bombing has been devastated.

On the other hand, 34 soldiers of Pakistan Army have been martyred during the operation Zarb-e-Azb.
