Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan, federal Interior Minister, has said that a requisition has been sent to the federal government to deploy the military in Islamabad in assistance to the civil administration. It is also said that the military will be deployed in Islamabad for three months.
The requisition has been sent under the Article 245 of the constitution.
Interior Minister also said that a decision has not been made to allow the long march of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI).
