Sources told that ARY News transmissions were suspended in different areas of Rawalpindi and Islamabad. Transmissions were forced shut in Karachi, Hyderabad, Shikarpur, Wah Cantt, Faisalabad and other cities as well.
As Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) and Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) have been staging protest sit-ins in Islamabad against the government for past 12 days, during which ARY News transmissions have been forced shut several times.
Scores of citizens have made telephone calls to ARY News offices for recording their complaints, while a number of masses also expressed their concerns on social media pages.
