Asia Cup: Bangladesh opt to bat in dead rubber against Sri Lanka
DHAKA: Bangladesh have won the toss and elected to bat against Sri Lanka, the team already made it to the final, in the 10th Asia Cup Match on Thursday, ARY News reported.
The host team has made three changes into their side. Bangladesh skipper Mushfiqur Rahim says his team will be fine as long as his bowlers do well in the first ten and last five overs. Imrul Kayes has a groin injury, Shamsur comes in. Rubel and Sunny are also in, and Shafiul and Razzak are out, he added.
Sri Lanka captain Mathews said his side wanted to chase anyway. Chandimal is not playing, Priyanjan is brought into his place. While Senanayake is back in place of Malinga, who has been rested.
The final of the Asia Cup will be played between Pakistan and Sri Lanka on March 8 (Saturday).
