Asian Games 2014: Unbeaten Pakistan to play arch-rivals India

INCHEON: Pakistan’s men hockey team will take on arch-rivals India in the final of Asian Games 2014 on Thursday, ARY News reported.

Defending Champion Pakistan will fight to retain Asian Games title obtained in 2010 by defeating Malaysia in China while India will seek their first title since 1998.

It is pertinent to mention that the winner of final will enjoy direct entry to the Rio de Janeiro Olympics in 2016.

Green Shirts had reached into the final for second consecutive time after defeating Malaysia at penalty shoot-out 6-5.
India, on the other hand, defeated hosts South Korea 1-0 in the semi-final.
