While briefing the prime minister on Sunday, Khawaja Asif said that the situation of power supply to different parts of the country is improving, following the breakdown.
He told that terrorism-related incidents thrice disrupted electricity supply in the last ten days.
However, the situation will be improved after a short time, he said.
“Guddu power plant was tripped after a technical fault at Uch power plant, resulting in a countrywide power breakdown”, Asif told the PM.
On this occasion, PM Nawaz Sharif asked the minister to ensure the restoration of power supply on immediate basis.
