Nisar raised this question over prolonged ruckus created by the opposition over offshore assets of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif’s family revealed by Panama Papers.
“How much taxes have Bilawal’s father and his other family members paid? They had been denying their offshore assets earlier then they admitted having Surrey Palace in UK,” he said while talking to media in Islamabad.
The interior minister said the chairman PPP had billions of rupees to his name but he has paid not tax return. No account has been registered of former rulers’ residences in Dubai. We would like to see whosoever was involved in corruption, he said.
He also said the opposition was being consulted on grant of powers to Sindh Rangers to detain a suspect for three months.
“The Rangers would be given this power after completion of the consultation process,” he said.
Nisar said there was consensus about cooperation of Pakistan Army for establishment of durable peace in Karachi.
He said more Iran had provided more information about arrested Indian spy Kulbhushan Yadev and his accomplices’ activities in Iran.
To a query, he said fate of Afghan refugees would be decided in presence of the Army chief under the chairmanship of the prime minister after he would return Pakistan.
