Those asking for military operation are enemies of Pakistan: Yousuf Shah

MULTAN: Coordinator of the Taliban committee, Molana Yousuf Shah has said that the Government supports our stance of meeting the Army Chief and the DG ISI, whereas the ones talking of a military operation against Taliban, are in fact the enemies of Pakistan and the people – ARY News reports.

Talking to media here on Saturday, Molana Yousuf Shah affirmed that after the ending of ceasefire, attacks are ongoing from both sides and the committee will demand both the Government and Taliban for a truce again, in the next meeting.

He told that a list of 765 non-combatant prisoners has been provided to the Interior Minister, Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan, which was issued by Taliban.

Yousuf Shah claimed that the Government supports our stance of meeting the Army Chief, General Raheel Sharif and DG ISI, Lieutenant General, Zaheer ul Islam.

Moreover, he claimed that there are certain hurdles in the way of negotiations process, which are to be cleared and all the stake-holders including the Interior Minister, Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan are sincere for leading forth the dialogue for the sake of restoring peace in the state.
