Assets inquiry: NAB summons Aleem Khan tomorrow
LAHORE: Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf leader Aleem Khan has been summoned again by the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) Lahore chapter on Friday (tomorrow), sources said.
Khan has been called again after his reported failure to provide money trail in accumulating assets beyond his known sources of income.
Aleem Khan had appeared before the NAB investigators on Monday and recorded his statement to the NAB officials in connection with the case. According to report, the PTI leader has claimed to have provided relevant record to the NAB and replied to the questions of the investigators.
The anti-corruption watchdog has been probing Aleem Khan in a number of inquiries including ownership of an offshore company.
National Accountability Bureau (NAB) chief Justice (retd) Javed Iqbal has reportedly directed the officials concerned to call Khan again for not providing complete record of the money trail of his assets.
