KARACHI: Ahle Sunnat Wal Jamat (ASWJ) has demanded to ban the channels which committed blasphemy of Ahl e Bait (RA) and to punish the anchors of such channels – ARY News reports.
Addressing the participants of a rally with respect to the Death Anniversary of Syedna Ameer Muawiya (RA), ASWJ leader, Aurangzeb Farooqui said that we do not support violence and urged the authorities for legislation to prevent the blasphemy of Ahl e Bait (RA) and Sahaba Karam (RA), under the light of the constitution, law and arguments presented by intellectuals.
He vowed that his party will be the front of any movement against the ones committing blasphemy of Sahaba Karam (RA) and Ahl e Bait (RA).
Earlier to this, the rally commenced from Lasbela Chowk and reached Guru Mandar, where it ended after the speakers' address to the participants.
