ASWJ leaders praise Karachi Police for bursting gang of sectarian killers
KARACHI: Ahle Sunnat Wal Jamat (ASWJ) leaders, Allama Rabnawaz Hanfi and Dr Muhammad Fayyaz have said that the country is passing through a difficult phase. They claimed India, America, Israel and Iran are spreading sectarian violence in Pakistan in order to destabilize it – ARY News reports.
Addressing a press conference here on Saturday, Allama Rabnawaz Hanfi said that the terrorists on the payroll of foreign agents are killing both Shia and Sunni scholars, youngsters, journalists and patriotic policemen in the metropolis. He claimed that a clear of evidence of it is yesterday's joint raid of Special Investigation Unit (SIU) and CIA Police, at an office of banned Sipah e Muhammad, located at Tariq Road.
They said that these are facts that a specific faction acting of foreign agenda and is involved in blasts and target-killing of innocent Shia and Sunni folks, which wants to destabilize Pakistan and the reports by police and intelligence agencies (IAs) serve as evidence for it.
The ASWJ leaders praised IAs and Karachi Police for conducting a successful raid and timely apprehending terrorists, and for saving the country from a catastrophe.
They demanded the Sindh Government to punish the arrested culprits accordingly.
Yesterday, Additional Inspector General (IG) Karachi, Shahid Hayat Khan, has claimed to have arrested a bunch of target-killers involved in sectarian killings. The gang was said to be operating its office at Tariq Road, where they used to plan targeted killings of different people.
He had said the nabbed terrorists had kept footages of their potential targets and even prepared their files.
Hayat disclosed that details and pictures of their targets were also recovered from a computer and the criminals used to garner complete data of targets before launching an attack on them.
