NAWABSHAH: At least 21 children were killed and several other children were reported injured as a bus collided with a truck near the Rohri Canal here on Wednesday, ARY News reports.
The bus was going to Moro from Nawabshah when the unfortunate incident took place.
According to sources, 20 to 25 children were in the bus.
Rescue officials and Deputy Commissioner of Nawabshah reached the spot after the incident occured. Local residents are shifting the bodies and the injured children to a nearby hospital using their own vehicles.
Doctors at the hospital stated that nine children were brought into the hospital in an injured state.
The death toll is feared to be increased.
