At least eight killed in Punjab accidents

KOT ADDU/LAHORE: Road accidents in different parts of Punjab claimed the lives of at least eight persons, ARY News reported on Sunday.

According to details, an oil tanker overturned while trying to avoid a motorcycle in Kot Addu. A fire broke out due to which several people sustained severe burns.

Rescue officials arrived at the scene and valiantly extinguished the flames. The victims were shifted to a medical facility.

At least six persons were reported dead in the incident.

Meanwhile, six others were wounded following a bus-rickshaw collision at Lahore’s Badami Bagh area. Two persons succumbed to their injuries.
