According to details, an oil tanker overturned while trying to avoid a motorcycle in Kot Addu. A fire broke out due to which several people sustained severe burns.
Rescue officials arrived at the scene and valiantly extinguished the flames. The victims were shifted to a medical facility.
At least six persons were reported dead in the incident.
Meanwhile, six others were wounded following a bus-rickshaw collision at Lahore’s Badami Bagh area. Two persons succumbed to their injuries.
