The court while hearing a case against Mir Shakil ur Rehman, declared him ‘wanted’ and ordered the Commissioner Rawalpindi and the Deputy Commissioner (DC) Islamabad for the forfeiture of his property.
Sources told that the court had repeatedly summoned Mir Shakil, while notices were also affixed outside his residence and office, yet the accused neither appeared in person, nor submitted any kind of reply.
At this, the ATC decaled him a proclaimed offender and ordered for the confiscation of his property.
Here it is mandatory to note that numerous cases are registered against Mir Shakil, Geo/Jang administration and some other employees for committing blasphemy and for defaming key security institutions of the state.
