ATC declares six MQM workers wanted

According to details, suspects Zeeshan, Masood, Mazhar, Farhan and others have been declared as wanted in a case pertaining to the year 2012 when they had allegedly fired upon madrassah Ahsan-ul-Uloom. The firing had claimed the lives of six people.

ATC police had indicted Ali, Irfan and Faizan for engaging police in combat and for possessing explosive material. These suspects had been arrested in 2015 from the city’s Nazimabad area.

A hearing  for the DSP Nawaz Ranjha murder case was held at the ATC today in which five MQM workers were identified by eyewitnesses. Suspects included Irfan, Ishtiaq, Shakir and Ata Muhammad are also included. Eyewitnesses recorded their statement that the suspects had opened fire at DSP Nawaz Ranjha’s vehicle.

DPS Nawaz Ranjha had been murdered in 2010.
