KARACHI: An Anti-Terrorism Court on Thursday framed charges against six accused including Shahjahan Baloch PPP member of National Assembly from Lyari, in Arshad Pappu murder case, ARY News reported.

Seven accused of the murder case including Uzair Baloch and Baba Ladla have been declared proclaimed offenders. 

Arshad Pappu, his brother and an associate were killed in March this year allegedly by chief of the proscribed Peoples Amn Committee Uzair Jan Baloch, and some other suspects.

ATC judge expressed resentment over absence of the lawyer of Shahjahan Baloch and said that the indictment has been prepared for last two months but the counsel not appearing in the court.

The court called the absent lawyer immediately and framed charges against Shahjahan Baloch and five other accused of the case. The accused, however, didn't accept charges against them.

The court summoned the witnesses in the next hearing of the case on January 11.

Arshad Pappu, a gangster of Lyari, was booked in scores of cases, including murder, abduction and other heinour offences at different police stations in the city.
