ATC indicts three accused in Karachi airport attack case

KARACHI: An anti-terrorism court (ATC) on Saturday indicted three accused for their involvement in attack on Karachi airport and summoned the witnesses on March 14, ARY News reported.

ATC judge, Justice Bashir Ahmed Khoso conducted hearing of the Karachi airport attack case, during which charges framed against three suspects Sarmad Siddiqui, Asif Zaheer and Nadeem alias Burger.

All of the three suspects denied charges framed against them.

The ATC has summoned witnesses in the case on March 14.

Earlier to this, Tehreek-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) supremo, Mullah Fazlullah, Shahidullah Shahid and six others were declared as proclaimed offenders in the case.

On June 8, 2014, Taliban militants had attacked the Karachi airport, during which 28 people were killed including 10 attackers.
