Musharraf is facing legal proceedings for detaining over 60 judges, including former chief justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry. The judges were detained after a state of emergency was by imposed by the president in the country.
Musharraf’s counsel Akhtar Shah submitted pleading papers to the court. In response, ATC judge Sohail Ikram asked whereabouts of the accused.
A case under terrorism charges was registered against Musharraf in 2009 for detaining over 60 judges.
