ISLAMABAD: US Ambassador, Richard Olson has said that the drone attack on Hakimullah Mehsud was inevitable; whilst the fact that Fazlullah not being attacked same way can be explained by some operational person – ARY News reports.
Talking to official media on Wednesday, the US Ambassador told that the bilateral ties between the United States and Pakistan are being reviewed in the strategic talks between the two states and next week talks will also be held regarding Dr Shakeel Afridi.
He elaborated that the US is not against peace talks with Taliban; it will in fact support this dialogue for internal security of Pakistan.
Richard Olson further told that the US authorities are paying attention towards mutual interests and the meeting of the US Foreign Secretary with Pakistani officials was successful.
