Auckland Test: India require further 320 to win

AUCKLAND: India require further 320 runs in the Auckland Test against New Zealand at Eden Park, ARY News reports on Saturday.

Indian batting started the third day's proceedings at 130/4. They were soon back in the pavilion at 202 runs. Rohit Sharma scored 72 runs for the vistors whereas Ravidra Jadeja scored 30 runs. 

Kiwi bowler Neil Wagner took four wickets in the innings whereas Trent Boult and Tim Southee grabbed three wickets each.

New Zealand, in their second innings, were sent packing at 105 runs. Right hand batsman Ross Taylor made 41 runs whereas Southee made 14 runs. 

Mohammad Shami and Ishant Sharma took three wickets in the innings each. Zaheer Khan grabbed two wickets and Ravindra Jadeja took one wicket.

Defending a target of 407 runs to win, Kiwi bowler Tim Southee dismissed Murali Vijay on the score of 36 runs.

Indian batsmen Shikhar Dhawan (49*) and Cheteshwar Pujara (22*) will start the fourth day's proceedings for the visitors at 87/1.
