The South Africa batsmen will have to stay at crease and not lose any quick wickets in successive fashions like they did in the first innings. The top order will have to perform really well to provide any resistance to the Australian side.

The highest run chase in test cricket recorded was 418 runs that was achieved by West Indies vs Australia in 2003. South Africa has to bat for 174 overs.
