Parks and Horticulture department issued a notification earlier in the day to reopen parks from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.
Dismissing reports about reopening of Punjab’s shopping malls and markets as ‘fake’, the provincial government on Thursday clarified that the bazaars will remain closed till further orders.

The fresh orders for smart lockdown in the province will remain effective until August 17.
Secretary Primary and Secondary Healthcare Punjab will issue a notification in this regard, they said.
Two more succumbed to COVID-19 in Punjab.
According to a spokesperson of Primary and Secondary Healthcare Department, two more patients died from novel coronavirus during the period, due to which the death toll in the province rose to 2,140.
The flight made an emergency landing after a passenger developed a health issue on board.
A notification has been issued in this regard.
