LAHORE: Former Speaker National Assembly and Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) leader, Sardar Ayaz Sadiq, on Monday alleged that Prime Minister Imran Khan-led government had politicised health issues with former premier Nawaz Sharif, ARY News reported.

The senior politician praised the Supreme Court’s decision for granting bail to Nawaz Sharif on medical ground. Ayaz Sadiq in a statement expressed gratitude over Sharif’s bail on medical grounds. He said that they thanked to Allah Almighty over the bail approval for the former prime minister.

The politician said that Sharif’s disease had been diagnosed in reports prepared by five medical boards.

He claimed, “Mian Sahab will return the style of politics which is needed to the country.”

The politician said that the government’s claims for an independent National Accountability Bureau (NAB) were nothing but a lie. He alleged that government ministers held meetings with the anti-corruption watchdog. He added that the country was well-aware about the nexus between government and NAB.

Sadiq termed Imran Khan’s foreign policy as a complete failure. He said that the present government has completely neglected Iran.

The PML-N leader said he believed that  Pulawama attack was carried out by India.

Criticising the wave of inflation, Sadiq said that major surge was seen in inflation which increased burden of common man after hefty hike in gas and electricity billings. He said that a cut was also made in education and health budget in Punjab.
