Azadi March: Imran to demand for PM Nawaz’s resignation

LAHORE: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chief Imran Khan on Sunday demanded Prime Minister Pakistan Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif’s resignation on August 14, 2014, ARY News reported.

Speaking in ARY News talk show KHARA SACH, PTI chief said he can no longer live in a Pakistan full of corruption and announced that he will reach Islamabad by all means and will sit in Islamabad until the achievement of his goal.

Khan claimed that he will not be talking to government or compromising on his goal, he promised to sell Raiwand Palace (PM Nawaz’s personal residence) and distribute the money among the poor and needy citizens of Pakistan.

The cricketer turned politician while laughing said that he could not believe that one day he would be saying this but former President Asif Ali Zardari was a better ruler than Nawaz.

Imran Khan while welcoming PAT chief Tahir-ul-Qadri’s decision to sync his revolution with PTI’s Azaadi March warned police that if they act rashly, consequences would be quite serious.

PTI chief reiterated his resolve to call for a complete re-election on August 14th, 2014.
