Jahangir Badar, speaking to media after attending a ceremony here in Lahore, said that droughts claim lives every year in Sindh but the media is focused on the issue more than usual. He added that the provincial government will soon identify the elements responsible for the drought related deaths.

He further said that the appointment of new Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) is being discussed and the final word rests with the party leadership.

“PPP doesn’t need to show any public strength on the party’s Foundation Day on November 30 as everyone knows its huge countrywide following”, Badar said.

He added that PPP chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari and co-chairperson Asif Ali Zardari will attend the ceremony on the Foundation Day.
