Bahawalnagar: Four women set on fire, shifted to hospital

BAHAWALNAGAR: Unidentified culprits set on fire a woman and her three daughters for unknown reasons, thus injuring them critically, ARY News reported Sunday.

The incident occurred within the jurisdiction of Bahawalnagar police station, in Donga Bonga area of Chak Mansab Ali. A wife of a labourer Manzoor Ali, Rani Bibi along with her three daughters was asleep when unidentified miscreants sprinkled petrol and set them on fire. However, local people saved them from being severely burnt and they were shifted to the District Headquarters Hospital.

The daughters of the lady were identified as 16-year-old Sameena, Shaista, 15, and Meeraj Fatima, 7.

Doctors said the condition of the injured women was critical. Police began the investigation.
