Bahrain, Pakistan seek political solution to Syria's issue: Bahrain's Foreign Minister
ISLAMABAD: The Foreign Minister of Bahrain, Sheikh Khalid bin Ahmed has said that Pakistan is such a state, which wants to keep a balanced relationship with all the countries. He told that we want a political solution to Syria's issue and Pakistan also wants the same – ARY News reports.
Addressing a joint press conference along with Pakistan's Federal Minister of Communications, Kamal Ahmed, the Foreign Minister of Bahrain stated that Bahrain has certain reservations over Iran for interfering in its internal matters.
He told that Pakistan and Bahrain are cooperating with each other in defence field and Pakistan is a state that wants to maintain balanced terms with all the countries.
Sheikh Khalid bin Ahmed said that Syria has witnessed enough blood-bathing; both Pakistan and Bahrain seek a political solution to the Syrian conflict.
He told that Pak-Bahrain bilateral ties are stretched over decades and Bahrain attaches great importance to its economic, trade, political and brotherly relations with Pakistan.
Moreover, Sheikh Khalid bin Ahmed said that the recent visit of the Prince of Bahrain to Pakistan is a major success in this regard.
