PESHAWAR: At least six people died and five others sustained injuries in a roof collapse incident in Bajaur Agency of the Federally Administered Tribal Area (FATA).
According to the political administration, the woeful incident took place in Khaar town of the agency on early Monday morning.
All the deceased and injured belonged to one family.
The political agent has said that the local people started the rescue operation timely and scrambled the rubble to pull out the injured. He identified the house-owner and family head as Ibrahim.
All injured were shifted to a local hospital, where doctors have pronounced their condition out of danger.
However, the family has lost six of its members in the hapless incident.
