Baldia residents thrash three policemen
KARACHI: Three policemen were severely thrashed by the residents of Baldia Town here in Karachi, ARY News reports on Saturday.
According to SHO Baldia Town, four policemen of the Crime Branch reached an alleged illegal oil factory for a raid. Employees of the oil factory and angry people surrounded the officers and gave them a severe beating. The crime branch officials were handed over to the police later.
The residents of the area said that the four policemen had arrived at the factory with the intention of looting it. “They were completely drunk”, they added.
