Balochistan Assembly passes resolution against sit-ins

QUETTA: Balochistan Assembly has unanimously passed a resolution against the sit-ins in Islamabad by the Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) and Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT), ARY News reported on Saturday.

The resolution tabled jointly by the government and the opposition members, said that the federal government should take measures to halt the sit-ins in Islamabad.

The resolution further said that the ongoing sit-ins have paralysed life in Islamabad.

The resolution condemned sit-ins in Islamabad and the demand of the dissolution of the parliament. It demanded the federal government to take steps for the end of the sit-ins.

The resolution also demanded other provincial assemblies to pass resolutions against the sit-ins in Islamabad.

The session was adjourned till August 25 after passing the resolution.
