Balochistan Home Minister stages walkout for not being invited at meeting with PM
QUETTA: Home Minister Balochistan, Mir Sarfaraz Bugti staged a walkout from the session on Friday for not being invited to the high level law and order meeting yesterday upon the arrival of the Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif here – ARY News reports.
According to details, the session of the Balochistan Assembly commenced earlier today, chaired by the Speaker Jan Muhammad Jamali.
During the session, provincial ministers and other members presented a joint resolution against the encroachment of public lands by state institutions, which was accepted with majority of votes.
Meanwhile, Provincial Home Minister, Mir Sarfaraz Bugti walked out of the House, for not being invited to the high level law and order meeting yesterday upon the arrival of the Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif.
He said that if he is tried to be kept powerless, then he would prefer to sit on opposition benches.
Members of the Balochistan Assembly expressed extreme displeasure over the misbehavior of police at the Governor House during PM Nawaz Sharif's visit to Quetta.
At this, the Speaker Jan Muhammad Jamali gave a ruling to form a committee for investigating facts in this regard and said that termed the behavior of police against traditions and ethics of the province.
Moreover, the session was adjourned till 3 pm on Saturday.
