QUETTA: Member Balochistan Assembly, Sardar Abdur Rahman Khetran was given on remand for 14 more days to the police on Monday by the Judicial Magistrate, Quetta 2 – ARY News reports.
According to details, Jamiat Ulema Islam-Fazl (JUIF) MPA, Sardar Abdur Rahman Khetran was presented at the court.
During the hearing, officials of the investigation team requested the Judicial Magistrate, Quetta 2 Rozi Khan Kakar to grant 14 days' remand of the accused.
The Magistrate accepted the plea and handed over Khetran to police on remand up to February 3.
After the hearing, police shifted the accused at his residence in Patel Bagh area, which was earlier declared to be the sub-jail.
Sardar Abdur Rahman Khetran is accused of various charges inclusive of torturing police officials and kidnappings.
