Balochistan Unrest Case: SCP summons Nasrullah Baloch for hearing

ISLAMABAD: Supreme Court of Pakistan (SCP) has summoned the Chairman Voice of Missing Persons Nasrullah Baloch in the next hearing of the Balochistan Unrest case here on Wednesday, ARY News reports.

The proceeding of the case was heard by a bench comprising of Justice Nasir-ul-Mulk and Justice Saqib Nisar. Lawyer, representing the Balochistan Government, Shahid Hamid told the court that Frontier Constabulary (FC) is accused in the missing of 16 persons. Military Intelligence is blamed for the missing of 8 persons whereas it is being said that police took away the 6 persons.

The status of the rest 23 persons is unknown.

The apex court summoned the Chairman Voice of Missing Persons Nasrullah Baloch in the next hearing and ordered the officials to provide the details in a written form so appropriate action can be taken. The court also provided a copy of the report, submitted by Inspector General FC, to the petitioner and adjourned the hearing till 30th January.
