RAWALPINDI: Speaking about the excessive use of mobile phones among the youth, Federal Minister for Railways Sheikh Rasheed Ahmad said on Tuesday that he would have banned smartphones, if he could.

Addressing students at the Women College in Rawalpindi, Rasheed pointed out that, “We are lagging behind because our women are not standing shoulder to shoulder with men.”

Further lecturing students, he said waking up early in the morning leads to success.

“Do not waste a single second and set targets in your life,” the minister added urging the students to give up the use of smartphones.

He shared his routine and told students that he is an early riser and “if the sun rises ever before me then I will leave politics.”
