Bangladesh records protest over resolution against Mulla’s hanging
DHHAKA: Bangladesh Foreign Office has summoned Pakistani High Commissioner (HC) and recorded its protest over a resolution passed by the National Assembly of Pakistan against the hanging of Abdul Qadir Mulla – ARY News reports.
According to details, Bangladeshi government recorded its protest to the Pakistani HC over a condemnation resolution passed by the National Assembly against the execution of Jamat e Islami (JI) leader Abdul Qadir Mulla.
The spokesperson of the Foreign Office (FO) of Pakistan, Tasneem Aslam confirmed that Bangladeshi authorities have said that Mulla’s hanging is their internal matter.
Bangladeshi officials said, “We are looking at the matter and are continuously in touch with the Pakistani High Commission here”.
