Banking court extends bail of 'one pound fish' singer till March 10
LAHORE: A banking court has extended the interim bail of 'one pound fish' fame singer, Shahid Nazeer till March 10 – ARY News reports.
Shahid Nazeer, while recording his statement in the court on Monday, told that he acquired loan from a private leasing company according to law and he is ready to return the loan.
He told that the claim made by the company is against the facts and pleaded the court to terminate the petition.
At this, the court summoned lawyers from both the sides for presenting arguments on the case and adjourned the hearing till March 10.
The court also extended the interim bail of the 'one pound fish' singer, Shahid Nazeer.
A private leasing firm had filed a petition against Shahid Nazeer a few months ago, for not returning the loan worth 60 lac rupees. The court had also issued his arrest warrant for non-appearance; however his pre-arrest bail was accepted later.
