It should be noted Ajmal was banned from bowling in international fixtures by ICC over an illegal bowling action.

According to media reports, the spin maestro might give up bowling “doosra” to work on effecting “carom ball”.

The off spinner, with the help of Saqlain Mushtaq and Mushtaq Ahmad, is trying hard to rectify his bowling action to return to bowling in the international format.

Pakistan has already named its 15 member squad for ICC Cricket World Cup 2015 in Australia and New Zealand starting in February.

Pakistan’s second spin option Mohammad Hafeez has also been banned from bowling due to illegal bowling action.
