BANNU: A health worker lost her life in an attack on Polio vaccinators during the ongoing immunization campaign in Bannu, ARY News reported on Monday.
Unknown terrorists opened fire at the health workers in Cantt Police Station jurisdiction in Bannu today killing a volunteer woman.
The anti-polio campaign faces formidable terrorism threat as scores of health workers and security men have lost their lives in attacks on vaccination campaigns especially in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province and Karachi.
