BCCI expresses regret over cancellation of Pak-India cricket meeting

The scheduled meeting between the PCB and BCCI Chief were cancelled following the storming of BCCI Headquarters by Hindu extremist group Shiv Sena activists.

The PCB Chief was invited by his Indian counterpart to the country in order to discuss the scheduled test series between Pakistan and India at the United Arab Emirates.

Shashank Manohar, in his letter to Shahryar Khan, expressed his regret over the meeting not taking place but has not tendered an apology yet.

He added that the meeting had to be called off due to the protest by extremist groups.

The BCCI Chief stated that he has asked for the Indian government’s opinions regarding the test series in December.
