DUBAI: “India will not participate in Asia Cup and Twenty20 World Cup if Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) doest cast vote in favour of Big Three proposal”, Board for Cricket Control in India (BCCI) threatened Bangladesh on Tuesday, ARY News reported.
According to Bangladesh’s media, President of BCCI N Srinivasan is adopting the threatening attitude towards BCB to support the suggested plan.
Two mega events have been scheduled in Bangladesh during the current year. Asia Cup will start from February 25 to March 8 while the WorldTwenty20 Cup will be played from March 16 to April 6.
The governing body's executive board meeting is currently underway in Dubai, the discussion of proposal suggested by the Big Three will be reviewed and to get the special resolution passed, eight out of the 10 Full Members will need to back the proposal according to the ICC Constitution.
