KARACHI: Governor of Sindh, Dr Ishrat-ul-Ebad said on Sunday that enhanced Karachi guarantees a better Pakistan asking all the sects to remain united in the fight against terrorism, ARY News reported.
Expressing his views in a ceremony organized by Karachi Electric Supply Company (KESC) on Sunday, he said whole nation is sacrificing in the war against terrorism, so nation should realize that to counter terrorism unity is mandatory.
The Governor condemned the attack on Express News that was conducted earlier day as well as blast on security forces at Bannu. He said that federal and provincial government taking measures to counter terrorism and equipping law enforcement agencies with modern equipments.
Meanwhile, KESC spokesman informed Dr Ishrat-ul-Ibad load shedding has been minimized to 50 per cent and the remaining 50 per cent will be overcome soon.
